Oneohtrix Point Never + Valentina Magaletti

Sound magician Daniel Lopatin, aka Oneohtrix Point Never, has been dreaming up prodigious synthetic epics since the late 2000s, drawing on the melodies of the past to better project himself into the future. This American visionary's ability to conjure up psychedelic whirlwinds with metaphysical resonance has won over the likes of James Blake, The Weeknd, Ishmael Butler, Charli XCX, Iggy Pop, Rosalia, Anohni, FKA Twigs, David Byrne, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Nine Inch Nails. He has also worked with film-makers such as Sofia Coppola and the Safdie brothers, for whom he has created some remarkable soundtracks.

Again Live follows the release of his latest album Again in September 2023. Oneohtrix Point Never has collaborated with multi-disciplinary artist Freeka Tet on this tour, which includes two one-off dates in France. This hypnotic concert promises to be one of the highlights of the Variations festival (30 March - 7 April 2023).

Valentina Magaletti is a composer and percussionist with an inventive approach and a versatile technique. Her ever-evolving style means she's just as at home behind a delicate ceramic drum kit as she is hammering out motorised rhythms. An activist explorer, she blends all musical idioms in immersive solos, as in her moving and cathartic album Queer Anthology of Drums.
