Bruit Noir + Derby Derby

Bruit Noir is the current group of Pascal Bouaziz (the late Mendelson) where the singer improvises as a commentator on the contemporary world. Set to abrasive instrumentals by Jean-Michel Pirès, Bouaziz shakes things up, flays himself, throws out punchlines that would make the best rap gunners jealous, and takes hilariously bad faith shots at anything that moves.

An instrumental trio making radical music, Derby Derby is built around a minimalist bass, repetitive drums and an electrified trumpet. Obsessed with rhythm, drone and time dilation, the group leads the audience to lose themselves in a vibrant maze of hidden, intimate and hypnotic melodies.
