Festival Variations

American pianist Bruce Brubaker offers a concert devoted entirely to the music of Brian Eno. Although he moves through styles and eras, Bruce Brubaker cultivates a predilection for modern American music. He dedicates this live concert to the pope of ambient music, revisiting a selection of his pieces with acuity and intense sparkle.

Variations
In partnership with the Fondation BNP Paribas, Le Lieu Unique, the centre for contemporary culture in Nantes, is organising an annual festival of experimental music based around the piano and keyboards: Variations. The festival will present some thirty concerts spanning across jazz, electronic, experimental, traditional and pop music, while showcasing the exciting mix of genres at play in contemporary musical creation.
