With this double bill, ONCEIM calls upon two avant-garde figures, Christian Marclay and Genevieve Murphy. For Constellation, Christian Marclay—a pioneer of turntablism who has collaborated with John Zorn, the Kronos Quartet, Sonic Youth, and Arto Lindsay—has been invited to work on a sampling of sounds from the orchestra, followed by a sound and visual score. This is followed by Together We Feel And Alone We Experience, a new creation centred on the bagpipes of Scottish musician and composer Genevieve Murphy.
