Born into a Franco-Malagasy musical family, Soa420 grew up surrounded by the sounds of Afrobeats, r'n'b and reggae. Cavernous bass, percussive breakbeat, languorous dancehall or dark trap: a crossover of genres that reflects her cultural identity.
