With TWIST, Cie Yan Duyvendak & Kaedema invites the audience into a giant escape game. The pitch is very simple: a director, plagued by self-doubt following a succession of failures, locks in his performers on the set of his latest creation. Seated at games tables, the spectators have the tricky task of freeing themselves by solving riddles and completing puzzles. The challenge is to generate a sense of solidarity and community with strangers in less than an hour!
