Vanessa Wagner

Vanessa Wagner creates a singular and innovative body of work situated between classical music, minimalism, and electronic music. In this performance of Philip Glass’s Études pour Piano, there is a twofold desire to bring these playful pieces to life for the audience, but also to consider the practice of piano playing and composition in movement. On stage, a kinetic installation by the Scale collective echoes the notes of the piano, undulating like a luminous ballet.
