Are we in a competition or at a demonstration or festival? With headphones on, Tatiana Julien warms up to the clamour of a jubilant crowd. In this solo, somewhere between a live concert and a boxing match, choreographer Tatiana Julien transforms the stage into a rostrum. Committed and rebellious, she endlessly combines different references, from Krump to voguing, from André Malraux to Mylène Farmer. Her gestures are powerful, her postures those of bodies in rebellion. She dances as an act of resistance.
