The virtuoso Ballet de Lorraine company plays takes on aesthetics and choreographies at opposite ends of the spectrum. On the one hand, Loïc Touzé’s poetic NO OCO immerses us in a strange languidness: around a large bench, a group of dancers imagine different ways of being together through tender gestures. Then there’s the electric Static Shot by Maud Le Pladec, in which the 23 dancers perform sequences with vigour and precision. Between Beyoncé-style hip thrusts and rigorous military marches.
