A poetic meditation on compassion, vulnerability, and hope, Stabat Mater tells, through music, the story of a mother’s pain and her unconditional love for her son. In Stabat Maldonne, choreographer Leïla Ka brings together the Angers-Nantes Opéra choir and five dancers to present a choral and poetic expansion of her show Maldonne. On stage, bodies merge, vibrate, and rise up. Free from constraint, the women set out in quest of themselves in this powerful hymn to sisterhood.
