Combining black humour, sensitive storytelling, and illusions, Phantasia is an offbeat one-man show. Claiming to have come from the future, a slightly touchy wizard offers a critical view of the inhabitants of the present, whom his contemporaries call “the big idiots of the year 2000”. In this future, our own era is a source of amusement. We think we understand the world, but we miss the point. A rope that comes to life, a piano that plays by itself: the stage becomes a space for observation where different phenomena attract the audience’s eye.
