What if we entrusted a friend with the task of telling the story of our own lives? Iranian Gurshad Shaheman and Canadian Dany Boudreault hold up a mirror to each other, each investigating the other as they travel between Iran, Quebec, France, and Turkey. Two artists, three continents, two childhoods on opposite sides of the world, and a friendship to bridge the gaps. On stage, two concurrent stories can be listened to through headphones. Each spectator chooses their own trajectory and their own narrative thread. In this dual portrait, everyday gestures become metaphors for memories.
