Suspended on a platform—a kind of swing—with their eyes closed, the audience floats above the ground. Around them, heat circulates, wind blows, light flashes, and sound vibrates in three dimensions. In Je suis une montagne, Éric Arnal-Burtschy orchestrates a physical and poetic immersion into the flows of the world. Here, theatricality is rooted in sensations and their evocative power. A rare, almost shamanic experience, the show deploys a wordless theatre, fully embodying the fact of being alive.
