Affaires familiales

With Affaires familiales, Émilie Rousset continues her exploration of judicial discourse. Using filmed testimonies, she gives voice to committed lawyers specialising in family law, reenacting their speeches on stage. Bodies move through a space that evokes both the courtroom and memory. Neither a reenactment nor a plea, this theatre of listening and tension asks profound questions about what justice does with our stories and what our stories reveal of our society.
