Deep in the mountains of Transylvania, villagers live in fear of an abandoned castle from which strange phenomena emerge. Who inhabits these ruins? The traveller Franz de Telek sets out to unravel the mystery. An actress-singer, four actors, and three musicians bring to life a cabaret that transforms into a forest, a castle, and a haunted landscape.
