First spotted by Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley, Blonde Redhead’s music has had several lives, blending melodic influences from 1960s pop, dream pop, and shoegaze into their electric rock. With their natural grace, creativity, and cosmopolitan character, the trio have always seemed to float above the American rock scene in which they emerged three decades ago.
"We have long been supporters of the charity War Child. They do important work to advocate and aid the children of conflict at a time when it is more important than ever. Our recent album ‘The Shadow Of The Guest’ features the incredible and pure talents of the Brooklyn Youth Chorus, and we wanted to honour their involvement in the project by helping to raise awareness of War Child and vital funds to help support their mission.
