Astrid Sonne, the Danish composer and violist, has forged an impressive discography exploring a wide range of moods through electronic and acoustic instruments. For her latest album Great Doubt, she changes direction with a foray into progressive song, where devastating emotion and existential doubts leave it to the music to fill in the gaps.
