Bachar Mar-Khalifé

The Lebanese pianist, percussionist, singer, and poet Bachar Mar-Khalifé grew up amid the political upheavals in his country. His music recaptures an inspiring universality, between jazz, pop, neo-classical, and electronica. In 2024, he surprised his audience with Postludes, an album that saw him cover six preludes by Chopin, “Something In The Way” by Nirvana, and “Les Paradis perdus” by Christophe. A return to a piano-voice approach and a performance more embodied than ever.
