RAGE
Variations Festival

Drawing inspiration from Pier Paolo Pasolini’s film-essay La Rabbia, Anna Gaïotti explores the many forms that rage can take, whether individual or collective. The choreography, composed of intense, sometimes violent movements, prompts an awakening: neither hatred nor anger, here rage is a force of resistance that opposes death with raw vitality and a necessity to act. Seated as close as possible to the performers, the audience has a choice: to be drawn into the dance or to watch it from a distance.
