All three members of (La) Horde – a multi-disciplinary artist collective – discovered a dance craze on YouTube known as “jumpstyle”, born in the clubs of Belgium and Holland in the late 1990s. Fascinated by this subgenre, the trio decided to bring it back, featuring eleven enthusiasts, with their clenched fists and military-precise moves, performing a no-frills, direct and frontal choreography to the beat of techno rhythms.
