Spectrum – Schweigman&
What would happen if we stopped thinking? If we unplugged our brains for an instant to dive into an exclusively physical perceptive space? This is what the Dutch company Schweigman& is telling us in its performances, which are located at the frontier between performance art and the visual arts.
The spectator, in an ideal, relaxing position, plunges into color and reels the “ganzfeld” effect—a type of sensorial saturation that opens the fields of perception and offers a suspended poetic moment and a voyage that is both collective and personal.
