In 1990, Dominique Bagouet created So Schnell: a lively, playful and energetic dance combining Johann Sebastian Bach’s Cantata BWV26 with the mechanical sounds of knitting machines (one of the choreographer’s childhood memories).

Catherine Legrand, a former dancer with Dominique Bagouet, revives this exhilarating piece, which has not been performed on stage for over a decade. Gone are the original set design and colourful costumes – this version focuses on Bagouet’s choreography, which has lost none of its vitality in thirty years.
