Annabelle Sergent has chosen to talk about war – and more specifically to young people. To do this, she focussed on the messengers, on the men and women who share their stories: in other words, reporters. Shell Shock is full of conversations with war reporters, but also with teenagers and their relationship to information. This raw tale is accompanied by a tense musical score underlining everything that cannot be spoken outright.
