With Soukaina Habiballah (Marocco) and Carol Sansour (Palestine)

The Shaeirat (female poets) project proposes to discover female voices in contemporary Arabic poetry through three performances proposed by the authors themselves. Shaeirat allows us to hear and see poems that are far removed from Western representations – ones that are inscribed in political and social struggles, as well as the fight for singular identities.
