Jonathan Capdevielle’s Saga has its roots along the edge of a forest in the Tarbes region, in a bakery run by his sister Sylvie and her boyfriend Alain, a gypsy baker who has turned his shop into a hub for all sorts of illegal trafficking (guns, false chequebooks…). This is where the stage director grew up, and where it all started. He uses the raw material of his childhood memories to make a colourful and moving show: a family saga that relates the story of a time period and brings each of us back to our own memories.
