Rodrigo Amarante is a singer with a soothing voice and calming charisma who mixes Brazilian music, pop and rock. His music is one where bossa nova and Tropicália mingle with electric guitars, brass and electronic sounds, all with an occasional touch of raw melancholy.

While waiting for his second album Drama to be released in summer 2021, we can nevertheless still savour the musical universe of a man whose first album Cavalo expertly combined the Brazilian acoustic tradition with electronic pop experimentation.
