Le lieu unique and the association EthicA are presenting Question(s) d’éthique: an event that will attempt to shed light on the major social debates the question our customs and capacity to peacefully coexist today. For this fourth edition, the question of human enhancement will be examined in the company of philosophers, doctors, psychoanalysts, political scientists, IT researchers, and more.
Scientific progress and biomedical techniques promise to alter and improve human beings. But are the promises of transhumanism actually possible? If so, are they even desirable? What are the dangers for humankind and for democracy?
