As they continue to buzz around us, drones conjure up both the remote-controlled airplanes of our childhoods and new methods of wartime surveillance. In Phoenix, these drones zip around the stage and interact with three dancers. In the background, another window opens, revealing artists in Gaza that live with drones every day. They are connected via Skype and perform their own dances in real time, which they practice as an act of resistance.
