Philip K. ou la fille aux cheveux noirs

Julien Villa

Philip K. ou la fille aux cheveux noirs is freely adapted from the Philip K. Dick’s sci-fi universe and mixed with other literary references (Kafka, Plato, Nietzsche or Ballard). After exploring capitalism and conspiracies (in particular, the Watergate period in the US), director Julien Villa created Philip K: a crazy yet lucid character in Nixon’s America, sharing the stage with six other actors. He showcases Dick’s obsessions and paranoia – a man haunted by the death of his twin sister at birth, who tried his whole life to peer behind the curtain of reality.
