Having just celebrated his 80th birthday, Philip Glass is easily seen as among the most important composers of his time. He is recognized as being one of the forefathers of minimalist music (alongside La Monte Young or Steve Reich) and is the most performed living opera composer in the world. This season, he returns to Nantes’ Opéra Graslin to offer a rare concert where he will perform his chamber music pieces with two musicians, Anton Batagov (piano) and Lavinia Meijer (harp).
