Always eager to work on original projects that zig zag between classical or contemporary music, electro, rock and jazz, the virtuoso piano duo of Katia and Marielle Labèque pay tribute to the masters of minimalism. For this concert, they will perform a brand-new version of In C by Terry Riley, a selection of works by John Cage, Philip Glass, Michael Nyman, Arvo Pärt, and the lesser known Howard Skempton, an English composer in the vein of Satie, along with pieces by composers influenced by minimalism like Brian Eno, Aphex Twin or Radiohead.
