One night in April 2012, Ihsane Jarfi spoke to a group of young men on a street corner in Liège, Belgium outside a gay bar. Two weeks later, he was found murdered at the edge of a forest. Using actors and non-professionals, Milo Rau re-enacts the case on stage. In this first part of a series entitled Histoire(s) du theatre, the playwright and director explores tragedy through a five-act crime play.
