Avant-garde composer and musician, Midori Takada wrote one of the most beautiful works of ambient and traditional Japanese music. After nearly a twenty-year hiatus, she released the EP Le Renard Bleu in 2018 with American artist Lafawndah. In it, we rediscover her trademark: finely chiseled sounds made with everyday objects or instruments, delicate melodies, and the influence of traditional Japanese music. We are whisked away without ever leaving our seats.
