Laurie Anderson

Part of the Variations Festival, music for piano and keyboards

Although her career took off in the 1970s, Laurie Anderson has been one of the most iconic figures on the New York art scene and continues to shake up the public’s relationship to performance. As the artist behind the legendary O Superman – the 1981 hit that was as minimalist as it was hypnotic – she has composed pieces for the past five decades that give technology a prominent role. This avant-garde artist (who was also Lou Reed’s wife) is performing at le lieu unique for the first time to present her latest creation, The Art Of Falling.
