Eight guys and gals from London – some of whom are childhood friends – revisit jazz by blending it with afrobeat. And the result is hot and brassy, upbeat ¬– and very contagious! This octet unleashed passions with the release of a first single in 2018 (Abusey Junction) and Gilles Peterson personally signed them on the spot to his label Brownswood Records.
