For nearly fifty years, Gilberto Gil has been one of the most emblematic figures of popular Brazilian music. Figurehead of the Tropicália movement, he has drawn from bossa nova and samba – which he has mixed with rock, reggae and soul – to create the perfect fabric for his protest lyrics. This living legend will be accompanied on stage by his two sons to better revisit a repertoire of dizzying depth and breadth.
