At the outset of this project, Mathieu Ferré – son of Léo – saw a hotbed of artists capable of paying homage to his father’s work in the musical collective La Souterraine. 25 years after his death, Léo Ferré’s poetic sparring still beats strong in the hearts of the new generation of chanson française.
