Within the framework of the “European ARTificial Intelligence Lab” – AI Lab for short – Ars Electronica and the Experiential AI research centre at the Edinburgh Futures Institute – part of the University of Edinburgh – are now offering residencies for artists on the theme of “Entanglements – fair, moral and transparent AI.” Applications will be accepted until October 29, 2019.

The “European ARTificial Intelligence Lab” network, initiated by Ars Electronica in 2018, includes 14 renowned institutions from the fields of art and science from across Europe. The aim is to enable artists to work at scientific institutions and at the Ars Electronica Futurelab. The initiative is financed by the Creative Europe Program of the European Union.
