Ensemble Links
Drumming In Motion
Alongside compatriots Terry Riley and Philip Glass, Steve Reich is one of the pioneers of minimalist music. French ensemble Links takes on one of the American composer’s major works, Drumming (piece for percussions and voice), in an original and hard-hitting production. Like a ballet, the public drifts around the thirteen musicians spread throughout the space, thus modifying the spectator-listener’s perception depending on where they are standing.
