In this play, actors Emmanuelle Lafon and Manuel Vallade re-enact Emilie Rousset’s and linguist Pierre Pica’s recorded discussions about Munduruku’s approximative mathematical system – Pica’s object of study. But, though their exchanges make up the play’s raw material, this is not documentary theatre. Rousset inserts a slight shift between the recordings and their re-enactment, thus humorously questioning the construction of the human mind.
