2018 is an important year for Dominique A since he is releasing two albums: one as part of a group, and the other of him solo. Two sides of a single artist who refuses to choose between electric disquiet and bright starkness. Like his mentors, Alain Bashung and Christophe, he knows how to twist his words around instrumental pieces that are reminiscent of Suicide or Barbara, all on the same album. Solo on stage, his talent explodes thanks to his physical presence, his dancing – a strange sort of flamenco – and the poetry of his texts.
