For over 20 years, choreographer Meg Stuart has made every one of her performances a radically visual and sensory experience. Her latest production plays with the different meanings of the French word “cascade” (waterfalls, successive twists and turns…) transposed into the language of dance. Here, the principle of the domino effect is applied to seven performers, who are subjected to unstable physical conditions. On stage, huge inflatable cushions and a ramp increase the possibilities even further, with energetic music accompanying these dancers towards a great Unknown that we hope will offer them salvation…
