La Souterraine – a laboratory for the new French music scene, represented by house band (formation-maison?), Groupe Mostla – intends to transform le lieu unique into a ballroom where boys and girls dance the night away. These high-minded musicians revisit a cult repertoire (Brigitte Fontaine) and/or a popular one (Kassav) transcended by keyboards and a powerful drum machine. And there’s a pretty good chance they’ll sing their anthem L’Amour, C’est Mieux. Far be it from us to stop them!
