There are certain tunes we feel we’ve always known. This is certainly the case with John Coltrane’s album A Love Supreme, whose legendary riff has fascinated and inspired many artists since its release in 1965. The choreographers, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Salva Sanchis, offer us a version that is sensual, ardent and meticulous – not unlike what this mystical work represented for Coltrane himself.
