The extraordinary Denis Charolles is the leader of the Campagnie des Musiques à Ouïr – a group that can range in size from a trio to a decet. This immensely generous drummer and his group perform songs that are baroque yet playful, crazy yet popular, and that lay somewhere between free jazz and the music hall tradition. In 2008, he created Les étrangers familiiers: a jubilant show in homage to George Brassens. For the 25^th anniversary of his Campagnie, the artists revisit this project with special guest Catherine Ringer from Les Rita Mitsouko !
